VIRTUAL KINETICS

Alan Rose returns to Disorder Gallery for just ten days only with D/O.32 Virtual Kinetics

Virtual Kinetics
works which change as the position of the viewer changes

Inspired by the Kinetic Art movement from the 60s, this exhibition demonstrates this virtual sense of movement with lenticular works, using vertical v-shaped elements which change colour as we move past them, creating various abstract forms.

A series called “Little Boxes”, evoking Pete Seeger’s song from the 60s (actually written by Malvina Reynolds) creates shadows and patterns that change according to light and viewer position.
