"The first Surreal images I saw were by De Chirico. Small canvasses at the Tate Gallery in London. I was a 12 year old schoolboy. As prints of Constable, especially "The Hay Wain” were de rigueur in most living rooms at the time, I was amazed. That amazement has been with me to this day.
